ERIC HAKE

SKIER, SLACKLINER

Age: 24 | Mount Shasta, CA

Eric Hake grew up in the small town of Mount Shasta. Here at the base of this 14,000-foot mountain he learned to ski. After placing 2nd in halfpipe at USASA Nationals Eric decided that life after high school needed to move him closer to the ski scene. A year a half later he found himself at Colorado School of Mines. While at Mines Eric start competing in big mountain events and picked up slacklining as a summer sport. He now strives to be a well-rounded skier and slackliner competing in everything from rail jams, big mountain competitions. This past season Eric tore his ACL. He hopes to make a full recovery by the spring of 2017.
